  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Melt before mixing.
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Can substitute with mascarpone.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust based on taste.
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Any nut butter can be used.
  • 2 cups Cool Whip/Whipped Topping Homemade whipped cream is a healthy alternative.
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Dark or semi-sweet recommended.
For the Topping
  • 1 cups Peanut Butter Cups Chopped for garnish.

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Crush 24 Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs. Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter and combine with cookie crumbs. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and chill.
Make the Filling
  1. Beat 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of powdered sugar, then 1 cup of peanut butter. Fold in 2 cups of Cool Whip until just combined.
Layer the Chocolate
  1. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth. Mix melted chocolate into the peanut butter filling, reserving 1 cup. Spread chocolate layer over the crust.
Add Peanut Butter Layer
  1. Pour reserved peanut butter filling over the chocolate layer, smoothing with a spatula. Tap pie on the counter to remove air bubbles.
Chill
  1. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours to set. Cover with plastic wrap, ensuring it does not touch surface.
Serve
  1. Top with additional Cool Whip and chopped peanut butter cups before slicing and serving.
