Prepare the Crust
- Crush 24 Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs. Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter and combine with cookie crumbs. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and chill.
Make the Filling
- Beat 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of powdered sugar, then 1 cup of peanut butter. Fold in 2 cups of Cool Whip until just combined.
Layer the Chocolate
- Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth. Mix melted chocolate into the peanut butter filling, reserving 1 cup. Spread chocolate layer over the crust.
Add Peanut Butter Layer
- Pour reserved peanut butter filling over the chocolate layer, smoothing with a spatula. Tap pie on the counter to remove air bubbles.
Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours to set. Cover with plastic wrap, ensuring it does not touch surface.
Serve
- Top with additional Cool Whip and chopped peanut butter cups before slicing and serving.
