Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • spatula

  • parchment paper
  • Ice cream scoop

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by placing 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the mixture at half power for 1 minute, then stir well. Continue heating in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted, about 2 to 3 minutes total.
  2. Once melted, gently fold in 2 cups of chow mein noodles into the chocolate mixture. Use a spatula to thoroughly coat the noodles with the chocolate, ensuring every piece is well covered.
  3. Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet for shaping the nests. Using a scoop, scoop the chocolate-covered noodle mixture onto the sheet and create a slight indentation in the center of each mound.
  4. While the chocolate mixture is still soft, gently press three Cadbury chocolate mini eggs into the center of each nest.
  5. Finally, transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set firmly.
