Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by placing 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the mixture at half power for 1 minute, then stir well. Continue heating in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted, about 2 to 3 minutes total.
- Once melted, gently fold in 2 cups of chow mein noodles into the chocolate mixture. Use a spatula to thoroughly coat the noodles with the chocolate, ensuring every piece is well covered.
- Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet for shaping the nests. Using a scoop, scoop the chocolate-covered noodle mixture onto the sheet and create a slight indentation in the center of each mound.
- While the chocolate mixture is still soft, gently press three Cadbury chocolate mini eggs into the center of each nest.
- Finally, transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set firmly.
