Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your store-bought pizza dough to your desired thickness.
  3. In a small skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Transfer the rolled-out pizza dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
  5. Brush the surface and edges of the dough with olive oil.
  6. Spread the sautéed garlic evenly over the dough, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake the pizza for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Once removed from the oven, place fresh basil leaves on top and optionally sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes.
