  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 3 tablespoons granulated white sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
For the Cream Layer
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
For the Jello Layer
  • 1 package instant strawberry jello try other fruit flavors
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries fresh or thawed frozen

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush pretzels, then mix with melted butter and sugar. Press into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Cool.
  2. Blend softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water. Dissolve jello powder in it, then add sliced strawberries. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour jello over the cream layer, spread evenly. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
  5. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
