- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas with granulated sugar and brown sugar.
- Add the egg, oil, and vanilla to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each liner 3/4 full.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the egg yolk and optional milk.
