Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas with granulated sugar and brown sugar.
  4. Add the egg, oil, and vanilla to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each liner 3/4 full.
  7. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the egg yolk and optional milk.
